I'm a photographer and writer based in Auckland, creating books that preserve people’s memories through photography and storytelling.
I create Photobook Memoirs – bespoke, documentary-style books that combine photography and text to capture the essence of a person's life. Through interviews, photography and the careful editing of quotes and anecdotes, I create books that reflect the people and experiences that have shaped them.
Photobook Memoirs range from the image-led Classic, which focuses on a contemporary photographic portrait, to the Extended, which brings contemporary photography together with images from your own collection. The Heritage Memoir goes deeper into the family archive, bringing together a larger collection of photographs with the memories and stories behind them.
If you'd prefer a simpler, more affordable way to capture a life story, I also offer the Life Story Interview— a written record of memories and reflections, gathered through conversation and told in your own words.
My background spans photography, writing, and biographical work. I have worked closely with people of all ages and backgrounds, developing a deep respect for lived experience and the importance of preserving it.
